Education
I received a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University, and Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, accredited by the American Psychological Association. It was one of the first schools in the United States to integrate clinical experience in a variety of settings with classroom education focusing on theory and research. The California School of Professional Psychology was dedicated, at its founding in 1969, to honoring, valuing, and understanding diversity in a multicultural society, and to combating discrimination in all its forms.

the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Mental Health Services Department, where I provided individual, couples, and group psychotherapy for a diverse population struggling with a wide range of psychological issues.

The Sexual Recovery Institute, specializing in the treatment of sex addiction. I provided individual, couples, and group psychotherapy for individuals struggling with addiction to self-sabotaging sexual behaviors, and group therapy for their partners.

The Saturday Center for Psychotherapy, one of the premier training sites in Los Angeles for contemporary psychodynamic therapy. I provided long-term, insight-oriented therapy for individuals and couples dealing with a wide range of psychological issues.

EMDR
I have been trained in providing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy through the EMDR Institute, and offer that treatment modality in addition to others.
Professional Activities and Memberships
In addition to my private practice, I have also treated, and supervised the treatment of, low-income individuals living with chronic and severe mental illness in South Los Angeles at Barbour and Floyd Medical Associates, part of the South Central Health and Rehabilitation Program.
I have also served as an Adjunct Professor at the California School of Professional Psychology, teaching classes in Sex Therapy and Systems Approaches to Intervention.
Member of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association, the Lesbian and Gay Psychotherapy Association, and the EMDR International Association.
